Free rev in park

I'm sure everyone knows that you can't really rev your engine in park. It's limited. Is there a way to be able to "free" rev without it being limited?
My 2020 1SS and my 2021 ZL1 is the same way and I'm talking about the A10

Yes, but you need HPTuners. Click on Engine/Fuel/Cutoff,DFCO. In there (far left) is Cutoff. click on In-Gear. There you can edit the RPM.

Might as well get rid of that useless, terrible sounding cylinder deactivation while you're at it!

Is your 2020 SS rev limited to 4000 rpm?

I'd say there is a reason the limiter is in place, but it's your car. If it's stock, tuning out the limiter will void your warranty.

ZL1s don't have cylinder deactivation.

Well I dont have the SS anymore, I traded that car in for the ZL1, but I think it was. You cant be in park and give it a rev past 3-4k rpms. I'm not trying to hit the rev limiter, I'm just trying to hear the exhaust lol. It just Feels like it cuts out power when you're in park and try to rev the engine.

Not the rev limiter. I'm talking about how you can't give it a good rev while in park. I'm not trying to hit the rev limiter, I'm just trying to hear the exhaust lol. It just feels like it cuts out power when you're in park and try to rev the engine.

I'm not talking about the rev limiter just the 3500 rpm limit it has when in park/neutral .l I believe the manual says it's to protect the transmission or something. I wish I could rev higher too especially when someone is trying to rev battle me at a light or something, but I'm sure GM limited it for good reason. Not sure if it's worth breaking the warranty for.

Just an FYI revving the piss out of your car when it isn’t under any load (in gear and accelerating) is probably the worst thing you can do to it. I bet this is why we see so many voodoo engines blow up since I believe Ford does not set a limiter for their cars in neutral.

Thats not what I'm talking about. I'm not the idiot revving his engine to red line just for attention. All I meant is that I would like to be able to give a little rev every once in a while cause i love the sound of my car. That was all
