I think what he meant was, it has to have an SA2010 or SA2015 certification on it. It can't be a full face "M2010 or M2015" motorcycle helmet. They look similar but the S is designed for Automobile use.

You are correct. It would really suck to pay all that money show up with an incorrect helmet and not get to run. But next time perhaps due to attitude I will keep my comments to myself....

they use the Original Course for a Parade, there are no races on the Old Course!

I can't find it on YouTube, but when I went home (Watkins Glen) a few years ago, I recorded a run on the Original Course in a Rental. Triple Digits and some Black Ice made for a fun lap

For both days it's $475 for SCCA members, $515 for non-members. I'm glad I saw this, really tempting event if I can get off work.
