Hi everyone ,
I’m looking to go to the US Grand Prix this year and I’m wondering if someone here has any tips for seating areas, things to do while there , etc. Thank you |

Hello, I have gone to the F1 race every year. The track is amazing and Austin is a great city.
If you are doing general admission, I enjoyed Turn 1 for the race (some decent passing at the end of the front straight) and the hill in between T16-18 for qualifying. If you can make it out on friday, you are more likely to be closer to the cars. There is typically F1 related events in downtown austin in the evening (the track is by the airport and about 30 minutes from central austin). There is tons to do in Austin, so I will leave that open to you. |

The general admission allows you to walk around to several different viewpoints throughout the race. You can bring a chair or blanket to sit on if you want.

I signed up to work the flags...hopefully I'll get accepted, if not, I'll just get a general admission and look for the best spot and enjoy.
Should be good a good time and a little cooler...I hope.
