need advice on buying scanner tool - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

just like the title says,, I'm new to this but determined to fine out how this works ..im looking for now just to clear my cel and see whats really causing it so I'm looking at scan tools like actron can some one tell me in the long run whats the best to use?also will any tuners help me like a diabo Trinity or anything that can do both scan and tune ? i plan on doing more mods so id like to learn how i can keep an eye how shes running!
its a V6 auto guys so i know no hand held tuners are out but id still like to know the difference... thanks

Which hand help is better for the L99 Diablo or SCT?

I have an auto xray 4000 and it can 'scan' but not tune. Of course, I have no idea what to look for in all these numbers to know if the car is running as it should.
