Nice list, I agree with the red seatbelts being a noticeable different red.

If you’re looking for some cost cutting then you can take out the darkened taill lights, sport pedals, and black emblems. I always see them much cheaper on here and the Facebook groups. Hell I bought the entire emblem set off someone yesterday for $50. The tail lights are more abundant in the 2016-2018 marketplace but I think more and more will show up for the 2019+ since dark is standard on some packages. Speaking of packages, what’s your thoughts on the RS package? I’m personally a big fan and think it would enhance the look of the car a lot. If I remember correctly, the dark tail lights come with the RS package, but I could be wrong

If you’re tracking the car then I’d keep the heavy duty brakes/cooling, if not then you can easily get a pair of 4 piston brembos from here or Facebook for around $300-400 with rotors/pads/lines.

If you haven’t already, test drive both the I4 and v6, the first ever 6th gen I test drove was a I4 then a few months later a v6. My mind changed immediately after the test drive and now I own a v6. Or you get cemented into the I4 after test driving both, the only pro I would say from the v6 would be the exhaust noise and on the 2020 models the A10 transmission

Seriously if I were you I’d get a 6cyl instead of a 4 turbo. Gas will be more because you need high octane for it Instead of just 87 octane. But most importantly before I got my 6cyl I searched google about turbos . This isn’t just for chevys but every car maker. In the last 6-7 years turbos fail within 3-5 years and it cost $3-4k to get a new one. That’s why I got a 6cyl.

Google “ are turbos any good” or “do they last” something along those lines. It’s every car maker not just Chevy. That’s why i didn’t buy any 4cyl turbo of any kind.
I searched for regular engine cars not many around. I figure I get a Camaro before I die.

Get a 8” mylink screen to 7” is small maybe you won’t mind because your your young and got good eyes. It’s the Technology Package also got a Bose stereo system to.

I believe from factory; the I4 takes premium and the v6 takes regular. Though many of the v6 guys say they use premium and have a better performance even without a tune.

I haven’t heard of the I4 using 87 though...

The 8” would be a very nice thing to have imo. If you can, do get it. I have the 7” and it is alright, I wanted to do the enhanced cluster LCD upgrade but for the people with 7” lose the steering wheel radio controls :( I personally wish I got the 8” as I’m looking around rn for upgrade opportunities and it’s easily over $1k to get a new radio and all the required pieces plus programming

Edit: also prime example of cheaper parts

He’s selling the aluminum pedals which are the same as the Sport pedals but for $100

That is exactly why I supercharged my SS... not because one would actually ever need ZL1 power or even more, but to have it there when I want it

To OP, unless you want to touch the engine down the road, I would also recommend the V6 for longevity, fuel cost and economy, even sound (with NPP). Just drop the dark taillight package, the black bowties and the pedals to save money, you can get them much cheaper and install them yourself afterwards.

i liked the way the 4 cylinder performs , my family leased a 2016 Buick regal and i liked the way it rode and performed but earlier than that we also had a 2011 regal turbo that was a great performer but the motor was utter crap

yeah i know that but i rather have the dealership deal with the black bowties(especially the rear one)

and also the sport peddles are different according to GM because they are a bit shorter from the two iterations

the lt1 motor is way too fast and gas mileage would be bad and not to mention the car will be unique in a way

actually no,but for reliability in the long term i would recommend the V6,plus you can burn 87 in it,cant do that with the 4 cylinder.

Huh... The LT1 motor in my car is quite adept at allowing me to drive quite very casually. And when doing so, the mileage I get is close to 19-20 in mixed driving and would actually be a fair amount higher if it were highway only.

And when I feel like I need the kick from that motor, I have it.

You need to man up and be willing to do at least such trivial work on your car. Don't get me wrong, I speak from experience when it comes to worrying and/or reluctance, for the first 30+ years of my life I didn't even know how to pop the hood.

The pedal covers are a package with a part number that you can just as easily order online for typically less than half the price after the fact and install for free.

Also, there is no way a dealership tech will do a better job fitting pedal covers or emblems than you can, when you have an infinite amount of time and maximum care and concern for your vehicle.
