I went to the local Chevy dealer tonight to place my 1LE order, but got some bad news. The dealer told me there's no 1LE allocations currently. I'm a bit dissaponted. Didn't think it was going to be so difficult considering it's just a 1SS with an option package. I've also noticed other fellow Canadians have ordered and gotten their 1LEs already. Hmmm....Prod can you send me the link to Gateway GM. I looked on their website but couldn't find it. Thanks
You guys think I should go to another dealer? Perhaps the dealer I went to tonight isn't very informed. Bummer

Yes. Try a different dealer.
You are right, it is just a 1SS with a performance option.
It has to have PDR though.
That particular dealer sounds like they have no allocations for a Camaro.

Go somewhere else.

It was on the gm.ca inventory locator, unfortunately no PDR. Postal code L6T 4A7
I also got two more of the $750 offers while I was looking. :p
As said, it may still be intransit already sold.
Sales staff in canada seem to have little experience with factory order and allocation issues, I'd only trust the sales manager.

Has anyone actually seen a V6 1LE at a dealer? GM's online locator tool is imperfect (eg. right now it doesn't even show Camaro as a search option), but there seems to be few V6 cars, few manual non-SS cars and no way to determine if a given car has the 1LE package.

If you go to the gm.ca camaro vehicle page, choose 2016 or 2017, then at the top is a link for inventory, gives more results than the gm locate a vehicle page. Look for a 2LT or 1SS with a suede steering wheel.

EDIT: Looks like they took down the 2016 camaro page yesterday. Too bad, there were still more 2016 SS models in inventory around here than 2017.

Does anybody know what triggers the $750 offer to come up? Had one for last year but am trying to get one for the next month or so as I am expecting delivery end of February. Not sure if they will let me combine it with employee pricing etc. but its worth a try..!
Prod - is their a specific inventory site you were using or just the regular chevy.ca , then go to camaro, then inventory across the top?

I was able to get a $750 pop up in the summer when I was looking into getting a Camaro but decided to look at a Mustang/Challenger and the pop up expired and I haven't been able to get another one pop up since...

Any ideas other then the mentioned above to get it to pop up again as I am ready to finally place an order

Which browser or operating system (Windows/Apple etc) are you guys using that seems to keep them coming up?

Any advice would help

Ordered a Garnet Red with PDR this weekend. Was given an ETA of May. Could be here earlier.

WOW, that sounds sweet Gman. Congrats. My salesman emailed me and said according to his managers they can now order 1SS 1LEs.

If you're looking for a car with in Alberta, I'd recommend CMP Chevrolet in Calgary. Specifically Ray Harder. After some bad experiences from GM dealers here in Edmonton, Ray was very easy to deal with and was willing to offer a reasonable deal. They also seem to have pretty good stock on the lot.
