255 X 35 On Stock SS Wheels

I am looking for some feedback to see if anyone has mounted a set of 255X35 on the 20" front, stock 6th Gen SS wheels?

I had looking into this sometime back and got a couple of "go ahead, no problems". However, about 2-3 weeks back, in another thread I asked a gentlemen why he went the 285X30X20" in the rear and the stock 245X40X20" in the front. He replied that the 255 width was very close and might rub.

I am going to pull the trigger on a new set of either PZeros or Michelins in the next couple of days and would like to have some real world information on the 255 front width on stock wheels on a stock SS with MRC.

Thanks for any input.

Thanks for the response. May I ask what tires you are running? I had switched to the Continentals and now have switched back to the Goodyear run flats. I needed to find 25 seconds (a lot). The switch back to the Goodyears got me 15 seconds (OK - as unlikely as it may be....maybe the driver is getting just a bit better on this track). Still, I need 10 seconds.

I run a 275/35 on my stock front wheel with no issues. 255 will be fine.
