A 3/8" drive impact really helps on the mid pipe/manifold nuts. The passenger side is the worst to take off. Just real tight on that side. Driver side is easier, remove the airbox to get the front lower bolt. I used 1/4" drive sockets, ratchet and various length extentions, they were easier to handle in the awkward position your hands need to be in. Both manifolds can come out the top when removed. Once you get the stock ones off your home free and the install is pretty much a piece of cake. Would highly recommend using a lift.
Would you have any dyno numbers with your CAI,LT/Highflow Cats all installed on a V6?

Stainless Works has an available 1 3/4 tube that I now wish I had got. With the 1 5/8 tube and on 87 octane gas, I dynoed 167HP. I wasn't aware that it was pulling timing with the lower octane as the manual said to use it. Scrming noticed it would pull timing with the lower octane.

I couldn't have summed this up any better. Mind you this is a tech saying this. I'm an avg guy doing this. So everything he says is correct and I went about it the same exact way! So have fun if you don't have a lift or an impact drive.

BBK claims it gets 33hp at the wheels. They dynoed it but we will see right. Mind you that was with high flow cats

You KNOW I will dyno here soon. The DA has gone up considerable so I don't want to risk throwing the dyno off to badly!

I got right in the neighborhood of 22rwhp over stock, IIRC. That's ARH long tubes and cats over stock manifolds. ARH have a larger tube then the BBKs.
