Something I hadn't thought about is test driving your new car before finishing the paperwork. Do some dealers try to discourage this?

Reckon you clarify the check tire pressure? What should they be for the 18" and the 20"?

I'd just checking the sound system, using songs with high bass and others with high treble. I wish I'd done this in my 2013. There was a vibration in the driver side door that only occurred when I had the volume up with strong bass.

BTW, I will break in my 2016 just like I did my 2013... Playing Dead Milkmen - Bitching Camaro on the way out

Also make sure your lug key is in the car if you got the wheel lock option.

EDIT: Should probably start adding to the list for those who went with the convertible...

Exterior
- Check for tearing / bad folds on top
- Make sure magnetic latch works properly with top up
- Listen for mechanical issues when lowering / raising the top
- Make sure remote can lower / raise without issue

Test Drive
- Lower / raise top at 20mph (its rated for 30mph)
- Check for suspicious air noise when driving with the top up and windows up.

Check the tag on the inside of the drivers door. Should be there!

I'd like to find out where my car is in the "SYSTEM". Ordered in December 2015 through 'Hammer Chevrolet' in Sheridan,WY. !!!! Again, that is 2016 Camaro SS/2SS with $10,000.00 (downpayment/Deposit). I was told yesterday, the 29th. that the number/code was 20000 - 2500. Is that indeed the case? Can I get some personal attention in this matter? I see on the forums that this wait time is (not the average). I need ATTENTION and answers. NOW. If no action is taken to my satisfaction I will withdraw my 10K and buy a G*#*^** PORCHE. I await SOME reply.........

We're all friends here and many of us have been in the same boat you are in...this forum is owned by a third party, not Chevy or GM.

All dealers are diff and you never know...best to let them rinse it and you do your own simple detail....one way is in my signature

You're dealer didn't have an allocation....Pure and simple. This is NOT chevy's fault. Your dealer was not honest with you....Buy whatever. Your car is finally in the system now though.
