I'm keeping my Firebird! It'll get a well-deserved rest for a couple years, until my daughter is old enough to drive. Or, I'll drive it if there is another recall on the Camaro after I get mine. :( So, keeping it licensed and insured too.
I'm glad I'm able to keep the Firebird; it's a good, solid, reliable car that I feel good about putting my kid in. And a V6, so adequate power, but not too much for a newbie driver.

Not I, the Z is almost where I want it to be, just a bit more to go. Besides, my Z and a 5th gen are two different animals. The Z is loud, has a fairly harsh ride, gets not so great mileage and is just a blast to drive. The 5th gen is more refined, sedate, definitely more friendly to the driver than my Z. But when I can get a 5th gen I will, and it wont be staying stock for long. Probably wont go with a big cam so the driveability doesnt suffer but will definitely be going FI.

Do not want to, but I'll have to give up my 1997 30th Anniversary. Bought her brand new on 12/23/96. I'm her only driver. My wife still to this day refuses to drive it. It will be difficult to see someone else behind the wheel.

Why sell.... you will regret... I sold my 91 Z28 Vert for my 99 Z28, and though I love my 99, I should have kept the 91...

2001 SS.. I'm gonna miss him.. but he's also on his last legs and I either get a new car or sink the money into this one.. I think I'm gonna miss the Hurst shifter the most..

Sold my 2002 Z28 last month. Had to buy the wife a car too a few months ago, and she had no trade, so had to get some money from somewhere for the two cars. Would have liked to keep it to play with, but oh well.

Not sure yet, I went and saw my 1st new 5th Gen last Thursday Morning, 1LT Victory Red with RS package. Guys I really thought I was going to leave the show floor with a new quest that I just Have to have one of these cars!!! It did not hit me that way. They are nice cars, will be a LOT of bang for the bucks when some nice used ones start showing up by I cannot justify 40K with tax & lisc. for one of these. If I spend that much it will be on an '07 Corvette. Aslo I personally really like some of the 4th generation. I may keep my '97Z28. May wait to buy a 5th next year. Enjoy your rides guys and gals/ It's just too much money for what it is for me. Just my 2 cents.

Sell? I just bought a 2000 model. Then in a couple years im gonna get a super low mileage 5th gen SS for a hell of alot cheaper than new. I love folks that take good care of their cars and hardly drive them. Makes it nicer for me.
