18x11" in the front SS1LE

Hey guys,
I'm looking at getting some 18x11" ET7 wheels for the front of my SS1LE (Looking at SM10's) and was wondering if anyone knew how much more material needed to be grinded off the front strut vs 19x11" to fit them? I'll be running camber plates to hopefully mitigate the amount of material I need to remove. I've contacted APEX and they just replied with something along the lines of material will need to be removed, but I'm not sure how much.

About 1/2" more vs 19s.
