The workhorse, '07 F150. I'm retired now, so my commute is to grocery, liquor store, bar, restaurant or....the interstate when I drive the Camaro. Always sucks when winter rolls around.

This summer I found a Jeep Commander Limited 4x4 Hemi that I'll be using all year round. Just put new BFG's on it, Weighing in @ 5,078 it should be a bear in the snow. The Camaro, never driven in the winter, stays in storage Oct-May

2019 F150 is the dd. After driving the F150 all week the Camaro is much more fun for the weekend. Wife's dd is a 2019 Mustang ecoboost. She's happy, everyone is happy.

With many of us, having a daily driver is almost a requirement. While I would love to drive my car(s) more, my living environment (traffic, climate, people that purposely damage other people's property) forbids me to drive my Sunday's best without supervision. This is the main reason that I fully utilize my daily driver.

In the past, my daily driver was lacking in overall quality, refinement and creature comfort in comparison to my stored cars. Recently, I've had a change in thinking of a daily driver. Presently, I feel that a daily driver should be as entertaining (whether in creature comfort, performance, styling) as one's main car. If your daily driver can achieve a high level of satisfaction, then the ownership experience becomes more satisfying.

Picked up an IS350 a few months ago. It's a little tight inside but very smooth and surprisingly quick car

When I bought my '17 SS 1LE, it was my only car for about 10 months.
Then I purchased a 2015 Sierra crew cab as a tow/dd vehicle. Sold that for an Audi A6 TDI for a little while.
Then purchased my 2018 F150 Platinum Crew cab diesel (leftover) in May. I plan on keeping that for a while

The wife has a '14 Elantra which we'll be selling in about 1-3 weeks, we just bought her a used '16 Audi S3 Prestige in Viper Green (one of 5) with APR Stage 3+ and some other goodies that will replace her Elantra for he 6 mile round-trip drive to work and it'll be used for errands on the weekends from now on (was using my truck)

I did sell the Camaro 2 months ago though... Going to a C8 Z51

I daily my 07 TBSS - I work 6 mins from home, so I don’t really drive the camaro to work since it would just sit outside all day.

I love these. Tell me a little bit about the used market for them. Can you find decent ones for a decent price? I saw one on a lot and really wanted to take a look at it.

I love TBs (obviously). They will be hard to shop for as most of the ones on the market have a lot of miles (100,000 miles and more). If you are determined you can find a good one.

Elegantly put! Exactly my thoughts but you put it into words much better than I could.

My daily commute is as mundane as they come - a 6 mile urban route with plenty of traffic lights and school buses, and straight as an arrow. So comfort and features are what you want rather than performance.

For too long I drove a rusting 2003 Mini as a daily driver, while my 2015 BMW M235i and then later my 2018 Camaro 2SS spent most of their time in the garage. The Mini was a far cry from the luxury of the BMW and had none of the creature comfort features of the 2SS.

But my new replacement 2015 F56 Mini daily driver solves those problems and more, with luxury touches and tech features while still being extremely practical and economical. It has the luxury "Lounge Leather" seats, the BMW iDrive, oops, MINI Connected infotainment system with built-in hard drive to store music, Navigation, a very nice Harman Kardon stereo, and all the tech we expect in a modern car. And it still has a manual transmission and quick steering so the driving part isn't a total bore. And of course the styling is fun and quirky and instantly recognizable compared to the cookie-cutter SUVs and sedans in the parking lot.

Both my cars are enjoyable now, and each serves its own purpose.
