oil cooler coolant line
Has anybody had a oil cooler coolant line burst? Mine ruptured as i was at highway cruising speed, causing the car to loose nearly all the antifreeze. Pegged the temp gauge and ruined 10 quarts of oil with only 1500 miles on it because of the overheating. The line doesn't look very vulnerable as its almost entirely covered by the skid plate. I have 24500 miles on the car and no permanent damage.

The part used to correct says 'engine oil cooler pipe', #4030460, so not for transmission. i see a tsb but it was for gen5s.

To have the line itself burst is beyond pathetic. Who is making these crap parts for GM? |
