Those all look really weird and artificial too. You just can't photoshop a black car in a different color. You wind up boosting the brightness to the point where it looks like it's a glowing alien car, and all the reflections look wrong too.

The LT is really easy to photoshop. You just load it up, choose "select color range" in Photoshop, click on the green paint job, and move the slider until it selects all the body panels. Then you can adjust the hue and saturation. It's that easy, and it looks a lot more natural. Like I said, bright green is very easy to edit because it's like having a green screen. Not many other objects in a photo will be mistakenly selected because it's a very specific color.

If anybody wants any more photoshop jobs of the LT from the promo pics, let me know. It only takes a couple seconds.

With all due respect, yours look like their luminance is way too low (and dithered) as if they were scanned out of a magazine from the 90s. And yes, Chris' is way too luminous. I had to mask off the black to color it, and yeah, it was a quick job to get the point across for color, not to make it perfect. And I'm not saying mine are perfect either, but if you're going to criticize others works, you better make sure your **** don't stink. If you think the color is right on yours, you may have to check your monitor or graphics card...

Hey man.

Chill. The point I was trying to say was that black is a hard color to photoshop into a different one. I tried as well and admitted mine looked bad when I posted the blue one up above.

Dude, you quoted me and lectured me on photoshop. No. Sorry. Bad idea. I really think your monitor needs to be adjusted.

So you say "with all due respect" and then make a snarky comment that's something short of basically calling me color blind. That's classy. Anyway, I'm done with this. I don't need to apologize because you misinterpreted my post. When I said that your photoshops looked over-saturated too, the key word was "too." Ie: You, me, Chris, and pretty much anyone would struggle to colorize what was originally a black car. I wasn't singling you out — the word "you" in "just can't photoshop a black car in a different color" was meant used in the general sense, not the specific "you", in that context. The comments that followed weren't tips for you. They were just general instructions for the community as a whole if anybody else wanted to try a crack at photo editing. Anyway, that's the end of my rant, and I'll try to avoid quoting you or directly commenting on something if you get that easily upset.

Here you go Chris. I tried to make a lime rock green Camaro to be in line with actual GM colors.

Want so hard. I also like Regal Peacock from the SS, not that it's so different you need to make a photo.
