Yeah just so you know, whether I'm gaming or in forums, or eveb cell phone and IM texts...I do not put up with typing like an ignorant 8 year old.

If you have to ban me because I am an asshole, that sucks...I just think if you can't handle the language, then don't get on the computer.

I do my best to drop subtle sarcasm first though.

We don't ban for simple language. But...we do try to watch the use of certain words as best as we can. As you know, it's all about using your best judgement. If something is a wee bit out of place, a few $%#@'s will end up in the word or it will be deleted (depending on what's said). I have no problem w/ @sshole and other most other words. But, let's not let it get to cuss words in every other post. That was happening a while back with another member....didn't like it too much.

We do take care of our members here...which goes back to the rules about being disrespectful and slamming other members. Disagree, but do not attack. This is why we have the wonderful world of PM. If there's a problem w/ a member, hash it out through PM's. Don't do it for all others to see. A little subtle sarcasm doesn't hurt, but let's all try to leave it at that for the threads.

I love that name. I love having a trash-talking section on any forum...but I like to trash-talk. IF we had one, that should be it's name.

As much as I DO love to trash-talk those I don't like...I have a feeling that if we had a dedicated section - it would 100% garanteed leak out into other parts of the site, and destroy the atmosphere we have here...

I know a couple of members here have mentioned that to me as well. But, and I'm sorry to those who talked to me, but I have to agree w/ Dragon. I can see that spilling over and tension created in numerous threads.

It's not like it's make-it or break-it for the site to not have one.

That being said, on forums where they have a dedicated flamage section, it becomes completely intolerant to have and trash-talking elsewhere...any that pop up are moved to that forum immediately.

We really don't need one at our current size however.

...I don't think any site needs one. It's like giving yourself Cancer...sure you can try and contain it, and hope you succeed. But if you fail...your screwed.

Oh BTW: I know cancer is a sensitive subject. But I've lost people to it:( , so I'm allowed to use it as a reference...

This is driving me crazy! Waiting for the Camaro to come out, seeing the bumblebee in the movie, reading the thread about how good the Holden Commodore is with the zeta platform, reviewing all of the pictures and wall papers and all that is left is discussing grammatical errors.
