How Long Will The Lansing Grand River Plant Shut Down For?

For the Holiday season, General Motors' Lansing Grand River Assembly plant where the Camaro is made shuts down when and re-opens when?

Looks like I may be waiting a while in order to hit the 2000 level order status for my 2017 ZL1 with A10........................OR maybe not?

During the plant shut down, do customer order numbers still move up or is that entire computer system shut down as well?

Orders move regardless.

If you are still 1100 Wednesday, you will have to wait for the next ZL1 ordering cycle.

This ordering cycle closes Tuesday.

Ask your dealer if he even has an allocation yet, or you will be waiting. You will find out on Thursday morning if your order has been picked up to 2000

Until you get your 'TPW', you are not confirmed for production. You really don't want your brand new ZL1 with summer tires delivered to Cleveland in the middle of winter do you?

Think March-April. And try not to think about it for a couple of months.

For reference, my vert order was accepted on Feb 6 and delivered 9 weeks later.

Last year they didn't start producing convertibles until 2-15. Then they were held 4 weeks after that. I ordered mine 12-10-15. It wasn't built until 2-22 with a TPW of 2-15.
