I am thinking about ordering some of the 4300K LED bulbs for my DRL's from Gen5diy.com (Ofer). What is the life expectancy on them? Is there anyone that has had them for a long time? I don't want to buy them if they don't last very long.

i got mine off ebay.....came from china paid for the pair $3.79 shipped to my door put em' in look good

How long have you had them? I don't want to change them all of the time. They do look nice, though.

All LED's are rated at a min of 20,000 HR that is 4.5 years if you run them 12Hr a day 365 days.

That is a long time.

Is there any kind of warranty on the bulbs you sell?

Good question because one of my VLED's ones burnt out and was looking to replace with ofers 5k's. The rating of the led's has nothing to do with the overall products lifespan because it isn't just the leds.

I've had mine for about a year and now one of them just went out today. But it's the electronics on the bulb, not the LED themselves. I got the "cheap ones" from iJDMToy.com

There's another dude on here that was selling them and I bought a pair. They've been installed for 6-8 month and a few of the LEDS are blinking and skitzing out so don't waste your money and get some good ones

There are a few options, but I chose Gen5DIY after a bad experience with AAC. The bulb I got from Gen5DIY was the 11 watt 6000K (slight blue tint - see picture here). I absolutely love the look. Since AAC didn't warrant their bulb that broke apart in my hand during install, I'm not really worried about warranty now that they are installed. I figure with Ofer's involvement on the forums if something goes wrong within a reasonable period of time, he'll take care of it...

I got the 5K, 11W bulbs from Ofer and these are amazingly super ass bright and with his DRL harness, awesome!!!. I'll have to take a picture.
