Wheel prices
Camaro family,
Have some people local to me selling stock wheels for cheap (I think). Wanted to see what the going rate for wheels would be to see if it would be worth it to pick them up and resell them. Wheels for sale are the style in the pics. What are they worth with/without tires? Thanks for the help |

I've offered my stock 2010 SS wheels at $500 which is cheap. No takers at that, the "factory" price is about $350 each I believe?

The second set that your showing is an OEM Chevrolet add on, they are 21" staggered setup, RPO Code VZP, front wheels are 8.5" width with the rears at 9.5" width. They came with Pirelli P Zero tires, front 245/40/21" with 38mm off set, rear tires 275/35/21" with 42mm off set. This option came with new set of chrome lugs with locks, cost was $4,300.00! I have both the staggered and square setup.
The problem if your purchasing out of your area shipping is crazy and dangerous at times. Also the price would depend if there is any road rash.

A stock set of wheels is only worth 200 to 400 dollars.

Make sure you get center caps and if at all possible try to get the tpms sensors. These parts are expensive and add a little sweetener to the sale. Benefit of the square setup is they can rotate and defiantly get extra mileage out of the tires. Hope this helps you out some.

The stock 20's with tires, depending on what tires and thread life, I've seen range from $200 with tires that need to be changed to $400 with almost new tires. Rims only I've seen go between $150-$200. Even at these prices, I know a lot of people who have eventually scrapped them because they wanted rid of them and couldn't sell them.
With your intentions of reselling them, I wouldn't bother unless you can get them for around $100 a set or less. You will most likely sit on them for awhile before selling just one set and until then they will just be in your way and a hassle to deal with. |

Sets local to me were going for $275 with fresh tires and TPMS at the time. I was lucky to get $150 for mine. EDIT: The sets selling for $275 had no curb rash or imperfections either. They were also 20" OEM SS/RS wheels.
