Pressure Washer from Costco?

My 3100 psi gas pressure washer, that made excellent foam with my foam cannon, finally died over the winter. I recently purchased the electric powerwasher from Costco (I think its 2300 psi?) and it just doesn't crank out the suds like the gas one did, and I'll even confess I bought the $80 HF green PW that worked better than the Costco model. I'm wondering if my cannon's clogged, or if the PW from Costco isn't strong enough to push the good suds, I've used the Meguiar's pink shampoo (also from costco) in all 3 PW's, and two outta three were good, but not the Costco model.

Anyone else have this experience?

As a general rule, the gas operated pressure washers produce more foam than an electric one does.

The only electric one I've used that comes close is a Karcher K1700 I bought recently from Wal-Mart for $120. It has a 3 year warranty as well.

I don't have a fancy foam lance, I just use one I got on e-bay for about $20. They did include a different fitting for it that produces more foam, and it will go through the entire 32oz bottle, but creates good foam for an electric pressure washer.

This is Optimum Car Wash, 4 oz. in container w/28oz water. It's $24/gallon on sale, and IMO, one of the best soaps available.

it's not the PSI.. its the GPM that makes the difference.

May need ot dilute soap mixture more w electric PW.

Yeah, I’ve got the Griot’s Garage BOSS foam cannon, and they give you different nozzles for use with electric pressure washers.
