Does anybody have 295/35/20 in the front?

Hello guys I’ve been searching the forums for a while and couldn’t find the answer to my question. I recently picked up a set of MRR M017 wheels from a friend came with 285/35/20 front and 295/35/20 rear, but I really don’t like the tires in the front they’re a cheap brand and give me no front end feel. I previously had 245 nitto G2s in the stock sizes and they gave me so much confidence was a great tire. However the rear 295/35/20 is a Nitto G2 and id like to put it in the front and just get some 305s 555rs in the back like I previously had. I saw the 285 barely clears but I don’t think 295 and 285 is that much of a difference where it’ll be an issue. I just ordered 5mm Spacers does anyone know if that will allow that tire to work? Thanks for the feedback

That’s going to be a tall tire! A bit over 28”. I have no experience with that size tire but honestly I think it’ll be too much. You over all height of the car is going to go up a bit which is great for not scraping in driveways but the center of gravity will be comprimised. I also feel that it will be too much mass and may slow you down.

I think it will rub but more so bc of height rather than width. If you do it and it works let us know and post a pic if possible. This will help give a reference of what can or cannot be done for others.

I looked up all the sizes on tireheightcalculater.com and 295/35/20 comes out to .4 taller than the OEM 245/40/20 when I put the wheels on I saw plenty of room on the top what looked close was the inside it’s close to the suspension/strut
I’m not sure if wheel gap is a indicator for how much room i have on top but i still have plenty of wheel gap in the front.
When the 5mm spacers arrive I’ll update everyone
