CQuartz ceramic coating

I've been hearing of ways to protect your car, what does everyone think of cquartz?

It can be expensive when having a professional do it but you have to also take into count you are actually getting 2 different services included in that price. One service is the full car detail with paint correction witch must be done before the coating can be applied, and the second service is the CQ finest application. A lot of people choose to do a polymer coating themselves and save the $$ but personally I feel it is worth it to have it done by a professional that has years of experience doing such work. The detail shop I used offered CQfinest and also offered Opti Coat pro 2 witch lasts longer than CQ but does not quit have as glossy of a finnish as CQ does.

learn detailing steps, how to use an orbital, pads and the like, before you venture into the coatings arena.. You can screw up a car easily if you don't know what you are doing.

Also if your going to try coating yourself, the degree of difficulty between the different coatings varies considerably. Make sure what you buy is user friendly.

Yeah, then you really dont know...coatings are the real deal for many, not all.

If you been detailing for 50 years , then you should know the products get better and technology makes things better.

I'm sorry but technology has come a looong way in 50 years. Cquartz is the real deal and if you took any time to research it, you'd see that and better inform yourself.

Dave you didn't ask me, but I use UK exclusively, I get more work time and it's a bit thicker coating. SLIGHTLY more finnikky, but not bad. Wipe & level after 5-7 min.

The only one here that appears to be a dumb f*** is you. Ceramic coatings ARE used by the professionals, and they work wonders, speaking from personal experience.
