I also had these left in my trunk... are they not suppose to be installed? I do have Mag Ride installed.

Thank you for the quick response. So I can adequately bitch, what is the official name of those plastic pieces? I see someone reference "track brake deflectors". Is that what these are?

Thanks again!

No, those are protective covers for the rear suspension parts. I'd have to search to find the official name of the parts... But they should definitely have been installed by your dealer. (Not sure why that is left to the dealer to do instead of the factory since they get installed on every Camaro... )

Sounds good. Here's the info on those parts. From what I understand, the verts do not get the brake cooling deflectors. The verts are also lacking some of the auxiliary cooling equipment that the coupes get. I suppose this is to save weight / cost under the assumption that vert owners are not going to track their cars. A bit of an odd assumption since verts in general are not out of place on a track. Miata, S2000, Cayman, etc. etc. Moot point for me personally though.

Separate thought: I wonder if there's a top speed governor on the verts? With the top down, I imagine the aerodynamics are pretty bad, probably resulting in unwanted lift at high speed. And with the top up, running really high speed has got to be pretty stressful on the large fabric top. Then again, they make ZL1 convertibles...

We got our 2016 Camaro 2SS last month. It had 3500 miles on it but it looked to be pristine. I hand waxed it today with ButterWax but I wonder if I should put that Black Crystal sealant over it. (?) My worst experience was with the RaggTopp Horse hair brush. It left hundreds of hairs imbedded in the fabric top! We used a sticky tape/lint roller to roll the top and get them out. The car is loaded (NPP, MagRide, etc.) ... and we love it. I'll be 70 soon but I still like to put the hammer down once in a while and blow those f$%$#@ mustangs off the road.

Yeah, having the same experience when I used it the RaggTopp brush for the first time. I wanted to return the brush but kept it in the hope that it gets better in the future. Last weekend I tried the brush again and still the brush sucks ...

With a new brush I use a trick. Wash the concrete good then scrub it with the brush. After a couple mins no loose hairs. No issue cleaning top.

Mother of Crap Warsteiner! I've got the same color SS. How do you get such an awesome, slick finish? Beautiful man.
