Having bought my 2019 6 weeks ago, I couldn't really enjoy it until I got a clear bra put on. Apparently the paint chips quicker and easier than you'd expect.
Enjoy, I do |

(Don't worry, the previous troll poster is the exception here, not the norm.)

My 19 seriously feels like such a dog compared to my 17. I swear I got a dud.

As mentioned above, get PPE as soon as you can afford it.
After that, when you can't stand the brake dust anymore, swap some PowerStop Z26 pads in. Best thing i've done to my car.

Welcome and congrats on the car!!
+1 for the PowerStop Z26 pads. Not expensive through Amazon, no noticable performance difference for daily driving and it's about 1/4 of the brake dust. That was the only issue I had with the car when I got it. Other than that, Have Fun and post some pics of it!

Agreed. Most of us are nice. Mustang converts are always welcome. My advice is to not go mod-crazy in your first few weeks. Its easy to get carried away, and before you know it, you've spend $1000 on stuff you don't really want or need, and will never recover the cost. Take your time, and leave the car stock for the first 1000 miles while you get to live with it. You will be amazed how good the car is from the factory. Then, add the mods you really want, a few at a time. You will achieve your perfect car.

I love the black when she is all shined up. But the maintenance to keep her that way is ridiculous! Between the light (noticeable) swirl marks to the rock chips. grrr
