You think that’s bad, try driving some of the other roads here in AZ, including the in town hiways. It’s ridiculous! Cmon feds, get on the stick you wieners.

I live in havasu an hour away and believe me, the roads get much worse! They never fix the roads and when they try, it's either slurry seal which is slippery when hot with motorcycles or tar whole road and put pebbles down, it's the worst here! My zl1 from Florida had 0 rock chips when I got it, less than a yr later I have more than I can count lol

The interstate in western Arizona was an absolute mess. Broken, cracked, and patched pavement for at least 100 miles. It was so bad, many people drove in the left lane, and I had to pass on the right, risking driving over broken pavement if I wanted to make the pass. (Never mind the dipshits who normally drive in the left lane as a matter of course.) I was dodging potholes and other potentially damaging pavement like it was an obstacle course.

The condition of the highways is a national disgrace and embarrassment. I won't risk my almost irreplaceable car driving over this garbage any more. I'll take the Jeep Grand Cherokee going forward.

All the taxes we pay, and something as simple as keeping the interstates paved and up to standard seems impossible for the idiots in Washington.

Rant Over....
The parts of Arizona that get snow in winter got the most snow they've ever gotten. Flagstaff included. I live in Phoenix but had to drive way out to eastern AZ where they had so much snow that the town I had to visit was completely cut off from the outside world for over a week. Plows got stuck and the snowcats from the nearby ski resort had to help dig them out. They're not used to that much snow and it really messed up the roads. They have plans to fix them before next winter but it's a lot to fix. Crazy winter this season!

Can you imagine doing the speeds I see in Germany over here!? 100+ mph on some stretches is not uncommon. Granted there are restrictions, but the roads do allow for those speeds. In PA, driving the limit on these roads can be dangerous if you hit a huge pot hole at 65-70 MPH. Let alone the garbage that you regularly see on these roads from mattresses to shredded truck tires, furniture etc...

Our roads are crap in LA/TX side. Construction sucks, as does their work. I put 20k a year on my car and know the pothole locations pretty well, it is what it is. I'm still happy to be behind the wheel every day though!

It's a national disgrace. We have 3rd world roads.

I took a short drive last evening, and was really happy with the roads around Albuquerque, considering the terrible ones I recently drove on.

Wow! I just came across this thread and I can 100% exactly relate. I just took a trip from home to Syracuse NY and back this week in my new ZL1 1LE, not because I wanted to but because I had to - I only have two week to the first track even of the season and want to use this car instead of my SS and badly needed the break in miles. Well, the roads all through upstate NY absolutely suck and I thought this government was supposed to introduce the so called "infrastructure package"!! I don't think I did any damage since I slalomed around the big holes but definitely hit tons of divots and uneven pavement. I was damn near crippled from that racing suspension (still wouldn't trade it for anything) but if we had smooth roads then this car would be actually comfortable.
I can't wait for track season to start since track owners actually care about their surface!
Now, off to the dealership tomorrow to replace the rear 3r that picked up a very expensive screw on this trip :((

And I took a 220 mile breakfast trip with my son today, and the roads we drove today were excellent. I have new found appreciation for the roads here now.

This what happens when all those road taxes are spent on entitlements and hand outs rather than repairing the roads they were intended for
