Question Max volume for Bose speakers

Hey all,

I'm wondering if anyone knows the max volume through the stock head unit (assuming everything is on zero and center in the eq settings) that can safely push the bose speakers. (No clipping/distortion).

I love my playing my music loud but don't want to damage the speakers. I tried finding the answer to this but have yet to come upon an answer.

If it matters I have a 2018 2lt rs I recently purchased. Looking forward to taking some pictures

to the forums, SlizzardLizard.

I'm not sure how one could even answer this, because our 2018 infotainment does not display decibel values or even numerical volume levels, so the best you can expect is "guess somewhere two thirds or three quarters of the way to max", or maybe a screenshot...

How about playing some music with a ton of bass and releasing the volume knob when you first hear a bit of clipping or speaker rattle?

Thanks Arpad_m!

Your right, there probably isn't an easy answer to that question without volume numbers and everything. I think I will just trust my ears like you said.
