Where do you keep your phone?

Im used to having my phone held by a vent clip. Unfortunately, that wont work with the rounded style in this car. I like the fact that theres a charging pad but its behind me, doesnt really make sense.

So where do you keep your phone?

In the charging pad. Most things I would use it for can be done through the info system.

My pocket because I can't find a place to put my phone to use CarPlay. Until wireless car play it will remain in my pocket because I can do everything from the radio and siri eyes free

If not in my pocket, I keep it in the cup holder.

Mist times just in my pocket. On roadtrips I ran a USB cable to glovebox, plug it in, and have access to android auto.

Do you know if wireless Car Play is expected for the 17's? I know the order guide isn't out yet, I'm just curious if you have heard/read something I have not.

I know the interior of the '16 Camaro is different than the '10-'15. But, Panavise has a great solution for most cars.

https://www.panavise.com/pdf_indash/751101310.pdf

I've got a '08 G8GT and use their mount. Basically, it gives you a stable platform. Then, I glued a 2"x1" flat magnet to the mount. I then got a hard case for my phone, cut a 2"x1" hole in the back, and glued a similar magnet to the phone case. Magnets like this

http://www.amazingmagnets.com/show-decimal-p063hp.aspx

Now, I just stick my phone onto the base, and it stays there with something like 77lbs of force. In other words, it doesn't disconnect while driving. But, to get it off, I just twist it and slide it down.

Sticky pad on the dash.. Same with my keys.. Love it there.

Now if only Apple car play wasn't such a POS 80% of the time, I would never have to pick my phone up.

My phone is to large for the charging pad. I've seen several phone cup holders that look pretty good on line. I'm waiting to see one live before I buy. Thinking I'll put it in the second cup holder. It's out of the way but I will see that it's there before I leave the car and forget that it's in it.
