Why did you move to the Z06? Reasons? Why?

Well, when I originally was shifting from my 1LE to a ZL1 I had listed the options I wanted. We found the perfect car at a dealership in North Carolina who, at first, agreed to release the car, but then they renigged and would not. So I accepted a ZL1 my dealership had coming in. So with the new ZL1 coming out I was going to get it with the "goodies" that I wanted. I went to the dealership and saw this Z06 and then test drove it and I was sold. I really love the looks of the agen 5 ZL1, but the Z06 was just too good to pass up.

Wow. You've gone from 1LE to ZL1 to Z06 in less than 2 years? I shudder to think what that cost. My wife would "kill me" if I pulled that. You're a lucky man.

Enjoy the new Z06. It's a heck of a car.

OMG....It's the one that gottaway!!
That's the color and model I wouldn't mind parking my garage.

That's my favorite color scheme.
24 hour Le-mans.

Any planned mods?...
Tell us what the driving difference is.

Love driving the Camaro....the hood is huge.
Used to drive an RX8, so I know how to sit fairly low.

I'm presently trying the same move, but I think the wife is on to me...

Corvettes sit dangerously low, and it's hard to follow your logic. Sounds like you never really wanted the Camaro. I'm glad I'm not married cause I pull the trigger whenever I want.

No I absolutely loved the Camaro. I was disappointed with the '17 numbers - I wanted over 700 hp so I shifted to the Vette... I still think the Gen 5 ZL1 is the best looking muscle car ever made... I still may own another in the future

Congrats Man! Sweet Vette. You will miss the ZL1 but the Z06 manual for a 17` is a nice Ride.

For the same $$ or less you could have picked up a Gen6 ZL1. What I have been seeing on current owners receiving this Ride is amazing. Car looks absolutely Evil and may outperform the C7Z in some areas. Too early to tell. Did you consider the Gen6 ZL1?

Great options out here for all of us!!

I did consider the '17 ZL1, but haven't seen one yet. I test drove a '17 SS to get an idea and it was considerably smaller than the Gen 5's so I figured I may as well look at the Corvette's.

Could I meet up with you and grab my booster decal from the windshield... I dropped off the window sticker and spring blocks also, I think they said they got it all to you...
