Thanks! There was someone on CAMARO 5 who "guesstimated" the options on cars. Colors with what color interiors, trannies etc. Interesting. Some cars were less than probably 20 made exactly alike. "fbodfather" also posted production figures of gen 5's.

Yeah, they may or may not do that for the 6. I do have a break down of VINs and can "guess" as well if they have the same sequence number as mine except the last 2 digits lol. But I believe they ran caddys on the same line as the camaros at one point which changes up the sequence numbers.

1G1FG1R71G0115933 is my VIN and the break down is:

1 = Country - USA
G = Manufacturer - GM
1 = Vehicle type or manufacturing division - Chevy
FG = 2SS manual
1 = Couple, 2 door
R = Active manual belts, airbags bla bla bla
7 = LT1 BABY!
1 = Check digit
G = model year - 2016
0 = plant - Lansing Michigan
115933 = Squence of the vehicle

Now we only know that the 115901 IS when the production started. 115901 to 115932 are CTF vehicles, for press, higher up employees, auction etc. And customer vehicle sequence starts at 115933.

A couple of truckloads of those first batches went to Indy for Press/dignitary use. All Hyper blue. A friend of mine has spotted a few in the wild up there in the past few weeks..
