Cool Im gonna look forward to the 2 mile road course if this ever becomes a possibility. Why only 1/8th mile track for drags 1/4 is more fun and gets more people to come out imo.

There's already a 1/4 mile track in that area, so I dought the drag racing will be very big there.

From what I can tell this is a replacement for Old Dominion Speedway.

Not a big fan of 1/8 mile drag racing honestly...plus MIR is one of the nicest tracks out there.

I wish someone would buy and reopen Marlboro Motor Raceway. Imagine a road race course just minutes off the beltway. Likely impossible...but we can dream.

Mir does sessions for their drag. Can't stand it.

This would be pretty awesome. Only a 2 minute drive from the house. You should see the weeds growing back there.

Hmmmm, it'll be interesting if it happens, but since there isn't even a picture, I'm assuming they're still trying to get money together. I can't tell you how many race tracks never open that are planned, proposed, etc... I'd be very curious what the track configuration on the road course will be though.
