Haha. You are fine at 240*F. Especially if it is intermittent. Keep a good synthetic oil in it, preferably Mobil 1. I track my A10 SS 1LE. 298*F peak oil temps. 240*F is no problem for a quality synthetic oil. Carry on.

Ty cdb for your info, makes me feel a lot better. Been using 0w40 super car in it since day 1 knowing my right foot likes to move a lot
