Turn signals start slow and speed up after

As the title suggest, the turnlights work fine but after setting them they start blinking normal for 2 to 3 ticks and after wards speed up rapidly this is happening to both sides but not to the hazards.
I checked all BCM fuses in front and rear fusebox and replaced them all preemptively. Any other ideas as to what this might be?

More about the car this is a 2.0T 1LT, i have the GM dark tailights with LED i added the resistor kit from Wildhammer.

I now have the RS headlights (yesterday) with the proper Gen5DIY harness but it was happening before this with my OEM Halogen lights.

Ive checked all bulbs and seem to be ok.

I'm betting it's resistor related. The car thinks the bulb is out.

Thanks ssmofo, Do you think that it might be the resistor for the tailights? Since it was happening long before i installed the new headlights?

Which resistor harness kit did you get from Wildhammer? You need the third one from the left in this pic, the one I circled.

As ssmofo said, the BCM thinks one of your turn signal bulbs is out, so you need to add a resistor on both sides, plus this harness gives you a 3rd resistor for the LED reverse lights (one resistor is enough for those, as they light up together).

If you have the correct harnesses, you need to check the two resistors on the top harness, there may be an issue with one or both or the wiring broke loose somewhere.

Hey arpad, thank you for your detailed message,

You are correct i did order the third harness and it worked fine for some time. Thankfully wildhammer has great customer service and they are working with me now to get it done under warranty from gen5diy.

the resistors may have went bad. if its 50watt resistors, its said that the 100watt resistors tend to last longer.

I am about to buy my first Camaro from 2016 and during the test drive, I've noticed that when setting the turning light, they start "clicking" slow then after 2-3 seconds they click very fast and that's a little annoying.

Is this normal or it's a problem similar to OP's message?
