thought i would post this to see if anyone has been thinking about or has seen other vehicles with long term support / solutions ...

recently i picked up my new 2023 gmc canyon, up until then i never really noticed what time does to the functionality and esthetics of technology in cars. needless to say, my canyon makes the camaro look, well old.

its ok now, but i plan on keeping my camaro for a long long time. so it got me thinking, i'm wondering if vendors will start to come up with solution that make the "modern" cars not age quite so horribly simply because of how quickly tech moves forward. i get why some of the BMW crowd preferred some of the M3s without the screen, mitigates some of the aging.

hopefully the aftermarket steps up for these cars that will have long term following.
