MyLink Blacked out

So my Mylink Blacked out on me again and I did try the fuse pull and battery reset but nothing worked.

Took it to the Dealership today and they can not figure it out either. The tech said the module was giving errors and he was unable to update the unit.

Now they want my car for a few days to figure it out.

This is something that should of been researched before they released the 6th gen

Mine was black for an afternoon, then worked fine the next morning, not sure why. If it breaks, it needs to do so within the next 2 years of the warranty.

Mine went black just 2 days ago. Couldn't do anything, no radio, nothing. Then, for some reason I had this screen come up while driving that seemed like it was waiting for an USB or something to update from. Once we came out of the baseball game we were at, it worked fine and I've had no issues since other than my my drivers side speaker(s) working off and on today, even while my on my phone through bluetooth. Really weird.

Hey guys, the proper "hip" term is "murdered out".

Same thing happened to me. Took the dealer 6 weeks to get the new module. "National Backorder" was the same terminology they told me for the delay.

Mine blacked out twice over the last few weeks, but came back on with next engine start. I could still hear the radio and control it with the steering wheel controls.
If it permanently blacks out, it needs to do so in the next 2 years.
It did it again yesterday (10/8), came back on at next engine start. Auuggghhh

if its doing those issues then it will black out soon because that is exactly how mine started. I would notify the service department so it is logged on your car VIN so if it does black out they know what to do.

Interestingly, my screen went black and all functions (audio) went out on the way to work this morning. It came back on a few seconds later followed by audio, so I take it to be a glitch, but it is curious that others noticed the same thing in a relatively short span.
