2016 1SS 6M with front and rear black bowtie, 20" gray machines face wheels, all weather floor mats, and all weather cargo mat.

MSRP: $37,940
Original buyers agreement: $36,156.95
Chevrolet Private Offer: $1,000 exp 5/2

So purchase price should be $35,156.95

I'm waiting for the car to be delivered, if it's not in within the next few days, I'll have to sign the paperwork prior to arrival which I really don't want to do, however I want to take advantage of the private offer.

I wouldnt worry about the PO expiring so much. What if in May they get better apr than what they have now(2.9). Also what if they also get the conquest in May? I would really regret.

Hard to find a 2SS nightfall gray with a manual in Southern Cal. Called a few dealers for the black ones and looks like dealer invoice is about ~$1500 off MSRP :(

http://www.lakechevrolet.com/Vehicle...-CA/2742226123

This model, dealer is only offering $1150 off MSRP for a 47k car! States that is the only available discount on that model since GM is Vin specific when it comes to disounts.

Think you could list all that stuff out? What options you got, the MSRP, then the sale price.

I very seriously doubt that I will use GM financing. My wife an I are state employees and belong to the state credit union. Last year we bought a 4Runner for her and our rate was 1.9%. I suspect I'll get about the same for the Camaro. They may get conquest in May but that's a what if. My current private offer isn't a what if. I've bought vehicles from this dealership in the past and they've always been great. I'd prefer not to sign before the car arrives but given my prior experience with them and their reputation, I have faith that they'll do right by me. POs have been coming out mid to late month, my car was built 4/8, it's been bayed for the last couple weeks. I at least hope that I have it before mid to late May.

Just got a call from a dealer. they have a 2LT/RS vert that has everything I want except white rally stripes. It's got a couple things I don't care for (white knee pads, underhood Camaro liner) and extras that I don't mind (NPP exhaust, black bowties, decklid blackout decal).

If I use the PO I got, it'll be about the same price as the one I was looking at ordering that didn't have the exhaust, white knee pads, underhood Camaro liner.

Tough choice - I'll know by noon if they can get this car from the dealer they found it at. If so, I can use the PO before it expires on 2 May.

What to do? AAARRGGHH!!

I don't want to lose the PO, but there may be better ones coming out in May!

I've seen a lot of dealers lately that are advertising employee prices on 2016s.

Yes, they advertise it but if you don't qualify you don't get it. It's called bait and switch like the dealers who stack every incentive available, even ones that are exclusive of each other, just to advertise the lowest price on an internet search.

Sure but anyone can lookup the supplier price on whatever build you desire. There's no negotiation using Suppier, Military or Employee programs.

2SS, A8, Nav, NPP, Gray wheels, 45380.00 MSRP

43650.35 Supplier Price
-1000.00 Private offer
+ 75.00 Program fee
---------------------------
=$42,725.35 + tax & tags

Check any disclosures on the site and it there aren't any and you are ready to buy create your deal in the website and send it off. Good Luck.

Some dealers run "Employee pricing for everyone" specials. If you stumble across one take advantage.
