Any word on the dealer installed lowering spring option?
I remember reading about this last month, haven't heard anything further. Anybody got any news?

Dunno about the option for 'us', but reports are lowering via springs is A-Ok with MRC. CTS-V owners, I do believe.

17 ZL1 what a car....

YES, When I was at Camaro Fest this year, I visited the GM accessory area and they had a list of all the parts for the 6 gen. She told me that there was definitely a lowering spring kit for the car but was not sure if it would make it in time for the first cars out of the gate. Just to note this is a dealer installed option only.

I get that, but I would like to lower a bit and keep MRC. Others have come up with a solution, it would be nice if GM offered the same.

Funny how opinions differ. To me, the 6th gen almost undoubtedly sits a bit lower than a 5th gen SS, and maybe even the ZL1, which looks absolutely perfect to me. I don't think I'll need to change it for my tastes. I'm just glad the LT models don't have tons of gap like my 2010 did when it was stock.

I agree. Based on all photo's so far the camaro appears to sit perfectly with 20" wheels for both the LT and the SS. If anything the "drop" will result in an non-symmetric wheel gap.

I am going to have to see it in person before I can confidently say I will lower it. Most of the times, it looks like a really good stance, then sometimes you get that pic where it looks like it should have Buckshot Mudders under it. Lol

Every car looks better with a little drop. The drop is .8", so it's not too much, but if you ask me the car has too much wheel gap. Here is a Photoshop with a slight drop...perfect if you ask me.
