Insurance discount
For those of you over 50, AARP offers a 4-hour Safe Driving Class which offers a discount on your insurance. Most major companies like State Farm honor this discount. The discount is approx. $50-$65 per 6-month bill for a period of 3 years. The class costs about $15-$20, but you can save up to $390 over the next 3 years.
With insurance costs going up 15%+ recently (mostly due to driver-distraction caused accidents), every discount helps. |
