how long does it take to get a VIN number?
Local dealer is saying that the order is in but it will be a few weeks for a VIN but will know target production week tomorrow. Doesn't make sense to me.

Get your order number from dealer....then ask Becky in the thread below for exact status....first post has a list of order/status codes...

After the car is produced you will have a VIN. Usually it is built during your TPW week.
