Touching with a bare hand is okay. My car is a driver, so it's unlikely that it's perfectly clean anyway. Just don't rub the paint with anything, don't lean against it, don't set anything on the hood or roof, or trunklid, I don't care what it is, if I didn't put it there, it doesn't belong there...

I have the same respect for other people's cars.

Okay. Yes this is just a car that is supposed to get you from point 'a' to point 'b', at the end of the day. I was obligated to tell you that. Now I will tell you what I think by way of my opinion. I get that you want to keep it nice and everything. After detailing then someone puts their greasy paws all over it and leaves fingerprints on the glass, I get that.

I myself would like to have mine "in pristine condition" as Q would quip to 007, before I pay it off. Once I hit the milestone, then I work on keeping it nice after the payment phase. Anyway, I only have two rules, okay three rules.

1. NO SMOKING!
2. NO EATING! Drinking ok.
3. NOONE DRIVES IT WITHOUT PERMISSION OR INSURANCE!
4. NO LOADED FIREARMS, EXCEPT FOR ME!(I just added that one)

How do you feel about hitchhikers or those needing a ride, you just tell them to loose the pants, or do you not even give the option? My bottom line is that you hooligans can do what you want with your ride. In my experience, it's just a matter of time before someone screws up your ride. Until then just enjoy the piss out of it!

I've learned to not be bothered by those little things a long time ago. I enjoy my cars more now because of that too.

A friend of mine always grabs the A pillar when he needs to get out. Its a black car so it shows... INSTANTLY!!! Always seems to happen even after he knows I just washed and detailed it. Cannot stand it and hes not even a big dude! The car is not lowered or even low in general. In fact his car is lower than mine. Don't get it at all.

I do like the no pants thing. Gonna see what my gf says about that one...

I showed mine for the first time last week and so many kids (mainly little girls) ran up and touched. I got to the point to where I joked about it. As long as the parents quickly corrected them, which every parent did I just let it go.
Did they spill a drink in there, scratch my car, or slam my door--- No.
Did it get a little girl excited about a car ---yes!!

It rained a few days ago and the rain drops stuck to the paint, I haven't washed the car yet, but I'm sure that when I do, those drops won't come off. I realized that even when the car is dirty I enjoy driving it. I think that stressing about something happening to the car takes away from from enjoying the car. That's just me though.
