So is it true they're shipping only the base engine right now?

That's the more "official" answer right now, although people have seen other trims with the higher powered engine moving on trucks. hard to say where they are going.

Most rational people believe they are only shipping the base engine, yes. There are a few fanatics on the Colorado forum who believe otherwise.

So the MPG numbers are likely the base engine I am assuming since this is probably EPA related.

That’s the idea. Only tabloids are reporting information though. Really wish GM was more forthcoming.

Mine has been sitting since 2/6 :(

I've been getting same "status" for 3 weeks now. They no longer provide status codes online. Stopped at dealer on Saturday and they printed Order Workbench. It originally was 1100 for a week or so and now there is no 4 digit code but has a TPW of 5/8. 2024 2500HD High Country Diesel 4x4. Never had a TPW that was 6-7 weeks out in the past.

We're all going to blame the government then.

Speaking of blaming the government , Camaro is gone MY 2024. Special edition (aka decal/stripe pkg i'm assuming) "Panther" coming to send it off.

I'll ask this here. As I recall, we have heard how the life-span of the Camaro was dependent on the parallel production of the Cadillac models on the same platform and assembly line...Has there been any news about the ICE Caddy sedans ending in Jan '24 as well? I thought we would have heard news of Cadillac, then Camaro ending as a consequence. Maybe I missed it.

FWIW I always thought over the years that the Caddys and their weaker sales than Camaro were over-rated and a non-factor for Camaro's longevity.

P.S: (But yeah, the darned gubberment...lol)

P.S.S. It's almost a relief, though, that we know when the ICE Camaro will end. Enough guessing for Pete's sake...lol

There were recent pics recently of a mid cycle refresh CT5-V Blackwing so it looks like that car will actually live on.

2024 CT4 and CT5 production starts in July, earlier than Camaro. That's odd to me as they're normally pretty close to each other.

I wouldn’t expect to hear of an announced end of production for CT4/5 unless there is a special edition V-Series tied to it. The “announcement” will be implied in any announcement on LGR being converted to a Factory Zero and buried in discussion of the number of jobs related to Factory Zero.

There's this, but no end or last of them mentioned that I saw.

2024 ZR2 and AT4X finally getting the diesel. Also NPP Exhaust for the 6.2

They are going to sell a lot these with the full mileage they get compared to other trucks (TRD PRO)
