The wheels will be side specific, they will stamped RF,LF,RR,LR. So the spokes will be all be facing the same way on each side.

It appears that these wheels are functional in moving air around the wheel well. Extracting hot air while the intake from the front feeds cool fresh air for brake cooling.

I hope they have that function to explain the damaged look....Interesting, though, that they didn't mention the brake cooling feature in the "performance-driven design" section of the release/refresh info...

Gotta say, though, I doubt it being functional for cooling is really the case...lol...

Wheels extracting air....
For real. Lol...

Bahahaha.

Give me a break.

I bet they create downforce too and make the tires grip better. Maybe some negative air pockets that makes them 18lbs lighter...

Sadly, I don't think this is accurate.

Look closely at the reveal photos. On the driver's side, they are pointed forward. On the passenger side, they are pointed rearward. This is my main grip with this style wheel. If they are going to do that kind of wheel, it needs to be the same on both sides!

Almost looks like the Cyclone Gray Metallic on the '05 GTO.

....or maybe not that much.

Now I'm really digging the tail lights. That's the best pic yet of those.

I'm liking them in that pic as well, the front though.... I just wish my first reaction was "F**K YEAH, thats amazing!", Instead of shear panic and "why did they ruin it with that?" It definitely got my heart racing, for real, just not for the right reason. I've calmed down since reveal time, but just cant get myself to like it. Glad others find it attractive though.

I wonder if you will still be able to get those wheels or if that was just a 18 they converted over for the 19 and left the wheels from before.
