Nice price...
No regrets though, the base ZL1 is hard core enough for me right now...

Thanks. Darn. Now I don't know if I want it MBM or HBM. Love the look of an all black car. But enjoy the idea of getting some contrast to emphasize the black pieces on this car.

Just wanted to say hello!

Sold my VMP Supercharged Mustang in January. Was kicking around a 17 Grand Sport, but once the 1LE came to light, I knew it was what I wanted.

I am supposedly locked in for an allocation, so here's fingers crossed!

Happy to be here!

+1
We are basing this on your avatar and pics you posted, I would suggest the "normal" ZL1 IF you don't plan on turning if you do want to turn, it does a great job, but it has the suspension to adjust for drag racing, the ZL1-1LE is a roadcourse car.

Welcome

Funny plate tooo

Honestly, I live about 90 minutes from Sebring, so may start there.

I sold the car to get out of the racing scene for the most part.

I want something fun to tool around the streets in. I'm going to take it to the drag strip every so often, but for the most part, I wanted the exclusiveness and the looks.

I originally was going to buy a 13 SS 1LE over the Mustang, but HATED the interior. Rubber pedals, boring dash, etc. For close to $50k, I was not impressed with the driver focus or conveniences.

The Mustang was meant to go straight, and didn't do much else. This car seems more suited for a myriad of things.

And...if I get froggy, there's no reason I can put some extra power back in her. Plus, I don't really care for automatics. Never have...

That plate was SUPER hard to get, but with a little ass kissing it worked.

Happy to be here!

Sebring. LOVE Sebring. I was just there a week or so ago. One of my very favorite tracks. Can't wait to take the ZL1 1LE there (once it arrives).

I haven't been yet!

The Mustang was a Track Pack car "Boss Lite" but I ripped out most of the suspension pieces for a full BMR drag setup. So, this should be an interesting change of pace for me, but I am up for the challenge.

There are some great groups to help you get up to speed. Hooked on Driving, and Chin to name a couple. Good luck!

Join your local PCA club (Porsche Club of America). They offer good instruction, focus on safety and their prices are usually excellent. Plus you'll be part of a club, have an opportunity to ask for the same instructor for continuity of a learning process, etc. Enjoy!
