Power Stop Z26 Brake Pad Review (Cut Down the Brake Dust)

Put the Power Stop Z26 brake pads to the test to mainly get around the stock pad dusting. But they perform on par with the stock pads and basically cut the dust down A LOT.

Hey Sledge,

I watched your install video as well. I'm convinced I also want to replace my pads & the Z26 looks to be a good option. Thanks for the review.

When removing the caliper pins to get the Brembo pads out, it looked like you just used a punch to get them out. There is nothing holding them in place or nothing to unscrew or anything? What holds them in place during normal use?

The pins sit in a pressure tight fitting on the back side of the caliper. They are actually guide pins, so their main job is to make sure the pads stay in the right place/ angle.

But you use the punch to force them out of the tight fitting and when you put them back in you use the hammer to get them to sit tightly once again.

What did you do with the FS01 rims? I love the high gloss m017? you have now! Are they both same price? Where did you get your calipers coated at? Would that bottom lip thing fit on under a aftermarket splitter (RPI)? Did you add a supercharger?!(noticed you have a new hood), what did you do with old hood?

Hey Sledgehammer, since you have had these brake pads for a couple of months, are you still happy with them? Any brake squeal? Thanks.

Just saw these. Would it be worth swapping out my stock pads immediately, with only 60 miles on them?

Performance wise they're the same but if you're looking to have less dust and grime then these are amazing for that.

Oh yea barely have to clean the wheels and tire and wheels look a lot cleaner every week instead of the dust changing its color.
