I feel bad for him. Everyone's bashing him but at the end of the day, he shouldn't have been the one to present the truck. I don't know why GM didn't send an exec (aka someone used to public speaking) to do it.

Man that is tough to watch. Who is the guy? Local rep, dealer, regional manager? How did they pick the person to do the presentation? Was it a sales incentive salesman with most sales in 2nd quarter or last year got to go? Employee raffle? Blows my mind how they came up with him sure he is a nice guy but that moment was way too big for him he seemed totally overwhelmed.

I just saw the video. The funniest part to me was when he would look down at his notes. Erin Andrews was trying not to laugh.

A GM spokesman said his day job is selling vehicles, not making public appearances.

Like I said, Mark Reuss or Alan Batey or Mary Barra should've been the one to do it. They're all used to talking in front of tons of people and dealing with the public.

I always though Manufactures have a canned speech that's been reviewed and approved for these events. He might as well have blown some donuts lol!
