2010 Camaro 2lt RS Wheels
Good Afternoon,
New to the community but have a few problems with my camaro I'll be asking about. Right now is the issue of my wheels getting filliform corrosion after the winter. This is the corrosion between the aluminum and clear coat. What is my best option, to have them restored or buy new ones? I found a set of 2013 SS wheels on CL and was wondering if they would be a good fit...only difference I can see is a difference in offset. (my stock wheels have a 40mm offset and the 2013 have a 35mm) Will this affect anything in the least? Thank you all! Also, has anyone gotten anything from gmpartstoreonline? Thanks |

I'm puzzled by your offset numbers. In 2010, the RS wheels were 20x8 with 35mm offset in front and 20x9 with 40mm offset in the rear.
I've never had it done, but people on this forum have reported good results with refinishing wheels. |

There is a good shot the person selling them was incorrect. Have you heard how much it would be to refinish them instead of replacing?
