A lot of people love the sound and quality of an Akrpovic exhaust, me included.
The problem is if they do come out with one not many are going to pony up the funds to purchase one, me included.
I'd rather put the funds somewhere else in the car.

Exactly. Their stuff on the Vettes literally sounds the same as stock to my ears. So all that money for some fancy craftsmanship=no thanks from me.

Yep. Beautiful quality and titanium. I heard their company name for first time when i owned an Evo X. their cat back exhaust was 4k~5k for EVO X. Three years owning a car, I only saw TWO people owned it lol. I cant image how much will be if they bring out for SS/ZL1, quad tips and NPP oh man. Lol

Akra has shockingly a huge company over there, making a lot of the M series exhaust for OEM BMW, I think I heard they have like 18k employees. The world’s and craftsmanship on their exhausts systems are seriously like nothing I have ever seen in my life and the weight reduction is crazy, about 50% from what I recall as the C7 exhaust was like 18lbs each side. I was waving it around like the Hulk! Haha

But to say the Corvette Akra isn’t unmistakeable is not doing it justice and I’d venture to guess it wasn’t a legit system. I’ll admit that as an axle back system isn’t as crisp as the carback, eliminating the secondary cats, I put it on my LT1 427 car and it was INTOXICATING revving up and down the RPM range. On my C7 ZR1, even without a cam, it’s just bananas
