1LE SS manual transmission fluid suggestions

What are you guys using for the manual transmission fluid for the SS 1le?

I would use an approved trans fluid. Its designed for that, they are synthetics.

My friend used Mobil1 Synthetic Gear Lubricant LS 75W-90.

Would that be an option even though it has a Limited Slip additive?
My past cars always used automatic transmission fluid in manuals.

no, no chance i would put differential fluid in a transmission.
he probably put that in the differential, not the trans.

I hope he didnt put diff fluid in the transmission, that would be really bad.

Royal Purple Syncromax for me as well.

Redline D4 ATF.

Alot of the vette guys,5th gen guys really anyone with a tr6060 run this fluid with positive experience.

That's a GL5 fluid.. he should NOT be using that in a transmission.

Yep, redline d4 is a very very good fluid. I used it at least 3 of my previous M cars. I'd also also consider GM fluid. No purple stuff for me of any kind...

Royal Purple Sychromax for me. Just changed it two days ago at 2,500mi.
The drain plug is hard to get to unless you remove the trans cross brace which first requires the trans to be jacked in place.
