iPhone 8 wireless charging

Camaro wireless charging supports Qi technology which iPhone 8 will support...

About time Apple put in wireless charging.. Now, for all of you plus model owners to experience the issues of.. Phablet non fiticius... Basically, all this fancy wireless charging made useless by a design choice of a pad that's about 3yrs too small.

Well, call me Ghetto, but I have a Samsung4, my wife has a newer LG, and my youngest daughter has an iPhone (about 1-year old). This "charging pad" has never worked on any of our phones........ Kind of a bummer.......

I have a Note 5 so, I'm too big to fit.

GF has an iPhone 6, no wireless charging.

So, in both of our Gen6 Camaros, that charge bad is worthless.

I had a S6 when I got the Camaro, only fit in the charging pad with the rubber insert removed. It barely worked as it was. My S8+ has no chance. Good place for sunglasses though!

My S6 fit perfect, didn't have to remove anything. My S8 was a little long, had to modify the rubber pad, cut the sides pieces that stick up on the pad, fits great and works great! Never have an issue.

I should modify my statment hehe. It only fit in the rubber insert with the case removed. Case on, had to remove the insert.

The S8+ won't fit at all... case off and insert removed, to long.

For the 1st time, I'm not gonna get the upgrade to the 8 or the X, just don't see any features I want. My 7+ does it all for me, including a great display for my drone software. Wish there was an accessory that would allow the chraging area in the car to be used for addl storage.

You need a compatible phone. S4 and iPhones definitely do not have it (except for iPhone8). It works fine on my s8+ in one sweet spot lol only issue I have is due to the phone being too big for the tiny holder.

Wireless charging and infinity displays have been out for years now, about time apple is starting to put new tech in their ancient phones

I always see it the other way around. Apple is always late but the features they bring always work as advertised. Had an S4, phone was a delicate POS, "read with your eyes," what a nonsense gimmick that was. Even their facial recognition can be spoofed and let's not forget the phones blowing up and the recall. Samsung comes out with gimmicks and then copies anything Apple does that works and calls it something different. The note and galaxy's have some nice features, screens and cameras though. I have an iPhone 6S, never a single issue in over 2 years, as always, it just works. I use it for a phone so the specs don't mean as much to me, Samsungs ecosystem is too split to satisfy me, iTunes will always be my go to.

I have the 6 as well, there is a case maker Chevy recommends that allows wireless charging function to work. I have it, but had to change to wireless at home and work as well, or you have to remove case.
