I have to assume the 14 second Chargers were RT's as the 392's run well into the 12's even with Joe Blow driving lol...
Nobody was running anything special as far as times go. Yes, those were 5.7 liter Hemis. We still had 60% humidity, and I realize that is part of the DA calc, but it can have a negative effect. I didn't see any of the regulars running anything other than their normal 1/4 times. Most "stock" modern muscle cars are mid 13's to mid 14's from the times I've been there. Our SS really shocked the attendees. They kept asking what was done to it. I told them, "Paxton supercharger, full exhaust, ported intake, and a 150 shot." Kidding, of course!

We needed to send files to HP Tuners today based on our car. We hope to have things updated on his software today and then try again Friday. This will be his first Gen 6, but he has done a ton for the LT1 on the Vette. Looking forward to keeping you all updated.

That was funny should have ran with that. Then when someone does it they will be really shocked.

Although it seems you really get into the drag strip to do the tune you are doing. Plan on doing the 150 shot of nos once? That would really wake them up. It did for me when I seen the first youtube video of it. I am not a nos fan myself. This car with 150 shot and some drag radials is down right impressive out of the box.

I am doing this to baseline the car and see what was left on the table. This tuner has really done well with the LT1 Vettes. After this tune and a before and after dyno, I'll consider my bolt on options only and the tuner will work with me each and every time. It's also nice that the shop is right down the street from my house. No nitrous.

Nice gains for a tune/E85 swap...
Just emptied the tank and filled her up. The E85 really lets you take advantage of the compression in these DI motors.

We had to have the tune adjusted for E85. They are not FlexFuel from the factory but sensors can be wired in and a few people are already developing a kit for your average Joe. Cunningham Motorsports has already converted their 1SS A8 to FlexFuel and will be offering a kit I believe.

Update: after a bit of a wait due to my travel schedule, I am going on the dyno this Wed. After that, we'll post up our numbers and take it to the track this Thurs. Matt and FSP will be doing the tuning.

I know all the details have been posted elsewhere, but to confirm, with a ported TB and tune from Florida Speed and Power we picked up nearly 20/20 for a total of 420/423 to the wheels.

The car feels like a total beast now, but is controllable and safe on the street. She'll go to the track tonight and see what the improvements have done. A month ago, it ran 12.3's all night with me not launching correctly (power braking instead of idle).

A side note is that the day on the dyno started off cool and proceeded to become warm. This could mean that our gains are even better than shown.

Very nice, looking forward to numbers...hopefully the DA will be similar for a good comparison. I see you hitting 11's for sure.

We shave four tenths off our original time: 11.9 at 114 tonight.

Fantastic. How was the DA?

Make sure to post new slips in the modified fast list thread.
