Normal or not normal?

Good afternoon everybody, just noticed some intermittent “clicks” while walking up to the car and was wondering if this sounds normal? Mods are 95mm TB, lt2 IM, 2” headers, exhaust, and e85. No codes or weird driving from car. Any insight would be appreciated!

Hey niicky thanks for the response. the exhaust has no mufflers nor valves. I would like to think it’s wear and tear but I’ve watched a few videos on YT on cars with similar problems (not Camaros) and most of them lead to a bad coil pack, injector, or both. So I’ll try that I guess. If it was a misfire it would throw a code right?

Under the hood or just at the tailpipes? A misfire can flash the CEL but may not throw a code IIRC.

Good morning White, as far as I know it’s only at the tail pipes. All the other ticking noises I heard from under the hood sound like every other DI camaro but I will post a vid when I can. No flashing or steady CEL whatsoever. Appreciate the input.

Manual or AUTO? If auto, what did you do for the AFM valves? That clicking reminds me of something similar to an electrical switch which isn't working correctly.

Or do you have cats? Is it possible a piece has broken loose and tapping around on the inside?

What’s up dynamical, thanks for the response. the car is a manual 6-speed with no cats. I’m currently checking torque values on the exhaust & intake manifold and all is to spec.

Exhaust valves are going bad. Extremely common.

If it's the exhaust valves and you're interested I can sell you the valve's off of my ZL1 muffler.

Mines has the exact same mods, and does the exact same thing. Also am a 6 speed as well. Either it’s normal or it’s “knock” but usually with “knock” you get small puffs of white smoke out the tail pipe (what I’ve heard from some tuners, could be false). However the car runs amazing and no drivability issues other then me not using my clutch correctly 🤣🤣

No valves in the exhaust guys. Yeah mine drives great as well, it was just at idle when I noticed the pops. I was under the impression it was a misfire but whatever it was it’s gone. Took it apart down to the injectors and bolted everything back up. I’m thinking maybe something was loose (bolt or bolts) or an electrical connector not properly seated oh well ‘til the next issue! Haha appreciate all the input.
