SpeedDawg Shift Knob

Ordered and installed this shift knob from Speeddawg. Took close to 8weeks to get it. They said it was because it's a custom color/graphics combo. Installation was super easy. However, there are some minor issues. The first is the adapter that comes attached to the knob is not quite long enough. In other words it lowers the shifter by about an inch from the stock suede shift knob. It's actually not a huge issue since now you can rest your forearm right on the console and just click it into gear. Second, the adapter will not fit on the stock plastic chrome ring that comes on the suede boot. You have to cut the little notch off. I left the ring off and just zip tied the adapter to the suede from the underside. Sorry about the pics being rotated. Not sure how to fix that.

Just right. Not too heavy and not too light.

very nice. i went with a speed dawg as well with the same adapter you have.

I had to cut it off and drill and tap when i went with a hurst shifter. but overall very happy with it. i had them add a line lock button.

that was actually a big reason why i went hurst after initial install. didn't like the boot flush with the ball.
